Affordable Housing for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote the general welfare of blind or visually impaired individuals and families by providing low-cost housing or other assistance which enables them to live independently, presently in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California.
We primarily focus on the need for affordable housing for those who are Blind or Visually Impaired. One person in the household must be legally Blind or Visually Impaired. There is an income qualification that must be met (see What We Do). And we ask all tenants to re-verify their household income every year in January.
A person who is severely impaired never knows his hidden sources of strength until he is treated like a normal human being and encouraged to shape his own life.
